Rev. Marissa R. Farrow, a Native of Baltimore, MD, was born on June 19, 1989, to Bishop Robert E. Farrow and Evangelist Jacqueline Farrow, Pastors of Mt. Calvary Church & Ministries, where she was launched in ministry.

On March 4, 2007, Marissa began her public ministry, preaching her Initial Sermon at Mt. Calvary, a sermon entitled “The Unshakable Call” from Jeremiah 4:1-9 and Psalms 27.

After a few years of trying to “find the right pace,” she completed her academic journey and proudly holds a Bachelor Of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC, where she also is a proud Spring 2015 initiate of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. 

As of may 2024 Rev. Farrow proudly holds a Masters of Divinity degree from the Samuel Dewitt Procttor school of theology at Virginia union university. 

Since her ordination in 2013, Elder Farrow has served under the tutelage of the Rev. Dr. Floyd & Elaine Flake at The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York as a preaching assistant. During her time there, she was blessed to gain experience in weekly preaching & teaching, Young Adult Ministry, and Annual Outreach Project team lead.

Having been blessed by God with exponential doors of opportunity since that time, she considers herself blessed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ all across the world, much of which, before the age of 30.

Bringing her across the United States for events such as the International Pastors and Leaders Conference for the Full Gospel Baptist Church, The International AIM Convention for the Church OF God In Christ Inc. and Guest Speaker at the final 3 Woman Thou Art Loosed Conferences for Bishop T.D. Jakes.

She has also been blessed to carry the Gospel across the nations to Nigeria, West Africa, Lagos, Dubai, and London, England as well as multiple appearances on the Word Network 

She is the Author of two books, Delivered From Dysfunction a 7-Step Guide to a Better You and, The Amazing Weight. & Looks forward to the release of “The Morning Cup,” a 21 Day Devotional on prayer, Inspired by her growing #ViralPrayerCommunity on Instagram, reaching over 1.1 Million Viewers Monthly.
